Jay H. Chie is the principal of Law Offices of Jay H. Chie. His primary speciality is real estate and related areas, such as commercial and residential real estate closings, property tax appeals, commercial leases, and condominium development. His other areas of practice include estate planning, business transactions, evictions, divorce, and personal injury.
Mr. Chie has lectured on legal topics related to real estate transactions, tax appeals, contracts, and business transactions. He is member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, past President of Korean American Bar Association, and currently serves as General Counsel of the Korean Cultural Center of Chicago.
He earneed his J.D. in 1986 from John Marshall Law School and his B.A. in 1982 from Augustana College. He is admitted to the state bar of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
